Getting Started

Organize Your Photos

  1. Gather your photos and arrange them in the sequence that you would like them displayed on screen.
  2. Number each photo on the back gently with pencil (or use a sticky note on the back)
  3. If you are including digital photos, change the name of the photo to the number that it would be in the sequence (e.g. 34.jpg)
  4. You can also include some digital video clips at a small additional charge.
  5. Choose which photos will have captions.  A few captions are effective.

I can create a DVD slideshow for 50 to 200+ photos.  However, I recommend a maximum of 100 - 120 photos as this would last approximately 20 - 25 minutes.  Of course, the length of your slideshow is up to you.

Try to include photos of everyone that will be watching the presentation, as people love to see themselves on screen.

DVD Invitations and "thank-you notes" should include no more than 20 - 30 photos, and Christmas greetings should include approximately 15 - 20 photos.
